Alexandra studied Art & Architecture History at Miami University before relocating to Scotland and attaining an MA in History from the University of Glasgow. She subsequently spent time working in historic preservation positions in England and Germany before returning to the USA. In Charleston, Alexandra has worked with prominent historical organizations including the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Charleston Museum.
She established Houselore in 2016, and has since provided consultation services for historic tax credit applications and green energy solutions in historic preservation while working on key negotiations as a liaison between developers and preservationists. She is an active member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the American Historical Association.
